What's an Imperfect Rhyme For "Narnia"

Well, I've been cruising along rather well on the health side of things when, surprise, a January doctor check-up reveals high blood pressure, high bad cholesterol, low good cholesterol, and two small hernias.(Okay, got it "hernia" > "Narnia")

Yeepee, skippee! (I eat well and excercise, so there's that! Lol Can someone say "hereditary"?)

Well, today is one day shy of one week since my "Laproscopic robotic-assisted bi-lateral inguinal hernia repair".

Recovery has been quite trying and painful, even with meds. Well, there ya have it. Take care of yourselves, folks.

Some future Hotel California shows are being rescheduled due to Corona virus precautions and I couldn't be more thankful for that. Boy, do I need some time to get back normal!

[This comedic photo from a venue back in 2019 isn't so funny now, is it, comedy boy?)

One of my favorite C. S. Lewis quotes comes to mind:

“Pain [or in this case, just a little discomfort, but a broken body that needs fixing] insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in our pains. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world.”

Oh, I've been listening the best I can, but now I'm leaning in a lot closer! Hope you don't mind the theology lesson for the day. I'm sure some new songs will reflect this.

By the way, I guess a better rhyme would be "hypothermia", but I don't have that and let's not go there!
